Anyone happening by this site will probably notice immediately that it lacks significant content. This site and the hosting service is mainly for my own personal use. My computer interests are too assorted to focus my attention enough to specialize in any one area. I basically dabble enough in a particular thing to accomplish what I want to do for my personal use and then end up getting interested in something else. (And as far as dedicating this site to some social, political, pro- or anti- <insert current controversial topic here> ideology that I may agree with, I really don't feel the need to be regarded as just some other obscure, opinionated moron out there in "World Wide Web land".)
That being said, I do have some good PowerPoint Presentations that I received by email available for download. I've changed the original names of some of them to shorten them or make them more descriptive. To download: right-click and select "Save linked content as..." (or similar). They can be viewed using OpenOffice.org (recommended) or Microsoft's PowerPoint Viewer 2007.
(My disclaimer: The photos in some of these are most likely copyrighted, but I have no idea which ones are. They were all being emailed around so I will consider them freely available unless notified otherwise.)

I also have some links to some great freeware apps for Windows, although I can't even begin to provide links to every one that I've come across. My general rule-of-thumb is; for just about anything that can be done with commercial ("retailware") software, there's a freeware program out there that can accomplish the same thing (while being smaller, less intrusive and, as a result, much less problematic).
I have a dual-boot setup with Windows and Linux (Ubuntu distro). Take a look at the clean and messy screenshots of my Ubuntu desktop for an idea of what it can look like. I will provide one source for learning how to do things in Ubuntu (and Linux in general). It's really the best tool there is: Everything you ever wanted to know about Linux. Seriously though, it's what I used and other users really would like it to be accessed before posting questions on forums.
Take a look at my basic guide on how to create a 3D Ubuntu logo in Blender, and be sure to stop by the Ubuntu Forums.
